About this version
This is the development version of these Terms, reflecting the site as it currently operates (or will soon operate): a public showcase with no accounts, logins, or paid tiers. When membership accounts and paid subscriptions are introduced, these Terms will be expanded and republished. Please see "Changes to these terms" below.

What this site is
paddedroom.art hosts original webcomic artwork created by an independent artist based in France. The server is located in the Netherlands and operated under Dutch and EU law.
Some content on this site is intended for adult audiences. This includes artwork of a sexual or mature artistic nature. Content is presented as original creative work, not as pornography produced for commercial exploitation. Explicit content is not published on this site.
Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to access any content designated for adult audiences on this site. By continuing to browse this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
No accounts, no sign-ups
This site does not currently offer accounts, logins, or sign-ups of any kind. All content is freely viewable to the public, subject to the age requirement above. We do not collect an email address, display name, or any other registration information from visitors.
Supporting the artist
Some pages on this site link to the artist's SubscribeStar page, where visitors can choose to financially support the artist's work. These are links to a separate, third-party platform. Using SubscribeStar is governed by SubscribeStar's own terms of service, not these Terms. This site does not process any payments directly and does not receive money on your behalf.
Intellectual property
All artwork, illustrations, and written content published on paddedroom.art are the property of the artist and are protected by copyright under French law, Dutch law, and applicable EU and international treaties.
You may view content through the site interface. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content on this site without the express written permission of the artist. Downloading or screenshotting content for private personal use does not grant any license to distribute or publish that content.
No creative obligations
The artist has no obligation to publish content on any schedule, to produce any particular type of content, or to continue operating this site.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from this site
- Use automated tools to access the site
- Harass the artist or other contacts listed on the site
- Attempt to interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure
We reserve the right to block access from any source that breaches these conditions.

The operator and artist make no warranty that content will be available at any particular time, that the site will be free of errors, or that any content is suitable for any particular purpose. As this site is in active development and its infrastructure is still evolving, we are not in a position to commit to a fixed advance-notice period or to individual notification by email at this stage; checking this page is the way to stay current. Once member accounts exist, these Terms will be re-visited. Continued use of the site after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence under EU law.
